WHO is BK9?
BK9 is owned and operated by Courtney Connors. She is an experienced and trustworthy dog advocate who teaches owner-to-dog relationships and how to live your best life with your dog. The outcome she strives to produce is a life with your dog that is realistic, harmonious and enjoyable for both. She also guides her clients who are interested in bringing a new dog into their home, whether it be from a shelter or an ethical and reputable breeder, through the entire process. Courtney focuses on each owners needs and provides education and guidance to get the best possible outcome.
WHAT BK9 OFFERS
1:1 DOG TRAINING
The1:1 Dog Training program focuses on each individuals goals and the motivations of each dog to find the right balance for both. Understanding what motivates each dog to learn and fulfill their biological needs, is the key. Beyond training just the dog, each 1:1 session packs in important information on how best to accomplish every goal. The support goes beyond the initial session, as clients have follow-up access for questions or concerns.
ZOOM DOG TRAINING
For our clients who cannot meet in person, you can find support online. Whatever the question, concern or curiosity may be we are here to help.
BOARD & TRAIN
The Board & Train program begins with trust and relationship building before moving into training. This process gives each dog time to decompress and show us who they are. Training starts with the basics such as Sit, Down, Heel, Place and Here (recall), all with positive reinforcement and figuring out what each dog likes best. Training then goes beyond the basics, focusing on breed fulfillment, owner-to-dog relationships, duration adherence and proofing.
