Our dog has had both in-home and overnights with Courtney. I can’t say enough about how at ease I am when we are away but also know that she is loved, cared for and getting trained everyday all day.

I cannot say enough about Courtney. We adopted a coonhound mix who after a few months started showing aggression towards humans. It was heart breaking for us because we didn’t know how to help Cooper. I called many training facilities and honestly couldn’t find one I connected with. Finally we got in touch with Courtney and from the moment I had the first conversation with her I was completely comfortable. She made a house visit to observe behaviors and one week later he went off to board and train with her. My step son was nervous and missed Cooper so Courtney was incredible about sending update photos and videos. She quickly helped us identify that Cooper is not an aggressive dog but instead extremely fearful and needed guidance. Upon his arrival home was the ‘true test’ and we were shocked. He clearly learned all the commands we had wanted and is doing excellent. We are forever grateful to Courtney!!!!!

Worth every penny and more! My wife and I were quite exasperated with Chica, our 14-month-old VERY happy, active, and playful 45 lb. Labradoodle.
Although Chica was never aggressive, she did jump all over people in a frenzy (including young children) or dogs we encountered at home or on walks in the community. She also took every opportunity to run off and socialize when we tried to do activities off leash in our yard. She came when called under ideal conditions but showed no interest in coming when something new caught her attention. We did not feel like she was well connected to us even though she had been with us from a very young age.
Courtney was helpful, caring, and professional during our initial phone call inquiring about services. So, we left Chica with Courtney for 2 weeks of Beyond K9 training. We missed Chica, but not that much. She had become quite difficult to manage. Courtney was great about sending short video clips and updates of Chica’s progress. It was clear that she was working on all the problem areas we had described and that she did it in a calm, caring, and loving way. Courtney brought Chica back to us after the training and was very generous with her time in teaching us how to maintain the skills Chica had learned.
The change in Chica and our relationship with her has been astounding. It is like her maturation was fast forwarded. She is still very active and playful, but able to meet people and other dogs more calmly. Her walks in the community (on leash with no tugging or lunging) are a pleasure. Meetings with other dogs and their owners are now fun and uneventful. We no longer worry that she might accidentally hurt someone in the frenzied enthusiasm of her greetings. We used to constantly watch to make sure she didn’t run away. Now, she seems to be watching us to make sure that we don’t run away. Her attachment to us is much more positive and secure. Chica returned 6 weeks ago, and she continues to get better every day. The upsides for Chica are that she gets to do many more outside activities off leash, and we show her a great deal more love because she is so sweet and responsive.
We very strongly recommend Courtney to help you find the dog you hoped for.

Outstanding training. We now love our dog even more now that he is calmer and more biddable.
